Dear, |
PETA's relentless efforts to expose the disease risks inherent in primate importation and to end the import of monkeys destined for use in pointless, painful laboratory experiments have been given an exciting, unprecedented boost in the U.S. House of Representatives. Reps. Greg Steube (R-Fla.-17) and Dina Titus (D-Nev.-01) have introduced the Preventing Risky Importation of Monkeys to Avoid Toxic Exposures (PRIMATE) Act, which would ban the import of monkeys destined for laboratories or their suppliers. |

The bipartisan bill would disrupt international monkey trafficking rings, protect public health from potential disease spread, and finally end the cruelty imported monkeys have endured at the hands of U.S. experimenters. But we need YOUR help to ensure it becomes law. Please act now to urge your member of Congress to support this landmark legislation. |
|
Thank you in advance for taking action today and for all that you do for animals. Sincerely, |
