Today, peaceful Greenpeace activists are appearing in court in Murmansk. This preliminary court hearing will determine if they will continue to be detained during the investigation. Their peaceful protest at Gazprom's Prirazlomnaya drilling rig last week was met with violence and live rounds from the Russian authorities.
