Dear, |
Thanks to generous PETA donors, we exceeded the $250,000 goal for the “Save Our Skin” Matching-Gift Challenge. These crucial funds will go a long way in saving animals from being tormented and killed in the global skins trade. Because of your compassion, we can carry out groundbreaking undercover investigations exposing abuse, run eye-catching campaigns and protests that persuade brands and consumers to stop supporting cruelty, and convince industry leaders to switch to ethical vegan materials. Bottom line: This work is saving animals’ lives. YOU are saving animals’ lives. |
Just this past spring, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and HomeGoods banned mohair following PETA Asia’s video exposé, revealing workers violently hitting goats with brooms and poles. Etsy also recently banned the sale of fur after facing relentless pressure from PETA, including messages from more than 100,000 people in this community. Just this week, PETA Asia released an investigation into China’s badger-brush industry, exposing badgers being beaten and stabbed while still alive at the largest supplier used in shaving, makeup, and paint brushes. As a result, Neiman Marcus, Ulta, Kohl’s, and Michael’s removed badger-hair products from their websites! You are part of all these victories, Cid Marcos. Your support, donations, and advocacy are making a difference. Together, we can stop the deadly global skins trade and save animals from unimaginable torture. Thank you for your compassion! PETA P.S. Here's a recording of the compelling Save Our Skin town hall meeting in case you missed any of it or want to show a friend! |
