Remember these dogs? Their lives started in wired cages, their mouths tied shut, destined for slaughter at a dog meat slaughterhouse in Indonesia. But because of animal lovers like you, they were rescued and spared.
Since then, these dogs have been in good hands at our partner shelter in Jakarta, where they’ve received medical care, basic training, proper nutrition and all the love they could ever ask for before being prepared for adoption.
Even after all the trauma and betrayal these dogs have endured, they still want to trust and have companionship. They’ve gone from being quiet, scared and reserved to gaining confidence and learning how to play with each other. Because of your support, they’re experiencing a gentle touch, soft kisses, playtime and what it means to be loved.
