Robots Stole the Spotlight Giant, glowing “plant-powered robots” lit up the night outside the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, urging a switch to a vegan menu. Surrounded by an energetic crowd, the eye-catching demonstration stopped celebrities and attendees in their tracks. With major media coverage and buzz from onlookers, the message was clear: it’s time for Hollywood’s biggest night to go cruelty-free. Who Took My Nose? A pack of “pugs” and “bulldogs” hooked up to oxygen tanks gasped for air outside Westminster’s opening day, exposing the suffering of breathing-impaired breeds. The striking display stopped crowds in their tracks, as many learned that even basic activities like walking or playing can be a struggle for these dogs. The eye-opening protest drew widespread media coverage and sparked serious conversations. Fur-Free Celebration PETA supporters gathered in Virginia Beach to celebrate the closure of Lowenthal Outerwear, a longtime seller of animals’ skins. Armed with signs, champagne, party hats, and noisemakers, demonstrators made it clear that fur is out of fashion—and out of business.
