Action Alert

Dear,

PETA has received a disturbing tip regarding BPD, Inc. (formerly “Barney’s Pets, Inc.”), a massive animal dealer and breeder based in Chino, California that reportedly supplies Petco and PetSmart. We’ve been told that animals are routinely deprived of adequate water, proper ventilation, and appropriate temperatures during long trips across multiple states to dozens of pet stores. Some reportedly escape from enclosures and die in the vehicles. According to the tipster, others are abandoned wherever the vehicle is parked when the doors are opened.

PETA has asked that the company take immediate action to ensure animals are provided humane care, but the company has been unresponsive. Find out more and see how you can help.

Take Action

Thank you for taking action for animals.

Sincerely,
