Tonight, our team in Israel's Heartland, along with the rest of the nation of Israel, experienced what Israeli officials are now calling the "largest missile attack since the Jewish nation's founding". At 7:30 PM Israel time, Iran fired a first barrage of ballistic missiles into Israel, with a second wave following close behind.
Reports are now saying that 181 ballistic missiles were fired in this attack. Thankfully, there are zero fatalities reported, with the exception of a Palestinian-Arab who was killed from a missile that landed in an Arab town in Judea and Samaria. Since our studio is located on the Mt of Blessing (Har Bracha) in Samaria, we had an up-close view of the missiles as they flew over our heads, with some making impact a short distance away from our offices.
We also experienced pieces of shrapnel that fell to the ground near our homes and offices. In addition, the Palestinian-Arab villages in our area erupted in spontaneous cheering and celebrations during Iran's attack, a clear indication of where the Arab population of Judea and Samaria's loyalty lies.
Thank God, our entire team of staff and volunteers in Israel are safe. Thank God, the people of Israel are largely safe, except for a number of victims of a terrorist attack in Tel Aviv, which took place only a few hours before the Iranian attack.
More details will be following. Thank you for keeping HaYovel, The Israel Guys, and the land and people of Israel in your prayers. |
